Around 100 aspiring entrepreneurs were trained on how to launch and manage a business

Around 100 aspiring entrepreneurs from the Central regions of Moldova participated in a three-day training course, held in Orhei, from 10 to 12 February. The event was organized by the EU-funded project “Moldova is Europe – Support for EU Integration,” in partnership with the Ministry of Finance, the State Tax Service, the Customs Service, and the publication Monitorul Fiscal FISC.MD.

Participants from Orhei, Telenesti, Criuleni, Singerei, and Rezina took part in interactive, hands-on sessions that walked them through the key steps of launching and managing a business.

Certificates of completion were awarded to all participants, highlighting their engagement and commitment to developing their entrepreneurial skills.

What did the entrepreneurs learn?
- Registering a business and the public procurement process;
- Compliance with fiscal requirements and social contributions;
- Managing import/export operations;
- Labor legislation, workplace safety, local and environmental taxes;
- Financial management, accounting, and business communication.

Training sessions will continue in four other regions of Moldova: Causeni, Edinet, Ungheni, and Comrat, between April and August 2026, thus contributing to the strengthening of local entrepreneurship and the development of a robust business environment.
